Düsseldorf is a vibrant city on the Rhine, with a blend of historic charm (e.g., the old town “Altstadt”) and modern business/creative districts.

CBD (cannabidiol): Typically low or zero psychoactive effect; widely used in wellness/therapeutic contexts.
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol): The principal psychoactive component in cannabis; subject to stricter regulation.
Products labelled “CBD” in Germany must comply with THC limits (often ≤ 0.2 % THC for many retail hemp-flower products) and other compliance rules (e.g., novel food regulation).
The legal status of CBD is complex and depends on product type, THC content, whether marketed as food/supplement/cosmetic.

Ask specifically for the THC content and that the product complies with German law.
If you’re travelling/visiting: keep receipts and product information in case you need to prove compliance.
Even if bought legally, consumption in public may still be subject to local smoking rules (smoking ban zones, etc.).
